May jjamo es...

Ah lads. The glange has once again returned at the worst possible time. Talk about a good first week in Argentina! Been dying for the last few days which is not the most fun I've ever had in my life. However that is no reflection on how fantastic, sunny and lively Argentina is!

It's been nearly a week and I'll find it hard to compound every experience into one post. I could talk about the few hours unplanned walk about Laaannndaaann [No David Hasselhoffs in dresses to be seen], our eco hostel, the hellish flight, the bus tour of a city so diverse yet organised, a burger so delicious I could have cried, the bug bites from hell, the blue skies, the €3 litres of beer, the sleepy town of Baradero, the exhausting routine of our Spanish Immersion camp, the contrast of rich and poor in Sao Paolo and Buenos Aires, the laid-back pace of life, the friendliness of the people, the singing of Amhrán na bhFiann at 2am in a local bar, the homesickness, the forgotten Spanish, the cool pools, the sharp, original graffiti, the bug in the jelly [discovered too late}, the homemade barbeques, the bars till 5am, delicious empanadas, rooftop sunset, sleeping on the side of the road, moped rides, the vintage cars, the fruitless trek to find a working ATM on a bank holiday, Argentinian Cadbury's and Irish Moro's, the mouth-watering watermelons, the interesting and acute taste of El Mate and being local celebs by making the front page of El Diario.

So much to say, too ill to say it. So until I make a speedy recovery, please enjoy some pictures that may explain the experience.
